How much weight can a floating shelf bracket hold?
How much weight can a floating shelf bracket hold?
An Ultrashelf bracket can hold 50lbs per each wall stud that it’s attached to. So if your bracket is attached to two studs, your shelf can hold 100lbs; three studs can hold 150lbs, and so on.

Yes. For an additional fee, we can custom stain your shelf with any Minwax stain. We also offer custom paint jobs for any Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams color.
How do I choose the right shelf length?
How do I choose the right shelf length?
We can cut your shelf to any length from 12" to 90". We are able to cut down to an 1/8" increment to fit your exact space.
To specify an exact length that is more specific than an inch, first round the measurement to next inch and select that inch in the drop down option then enter in the exact length in the box below the drop down. For example, if you need a shelf that is 15-3/8" then select 15" from the drop down option then in the box below the drop down enter 15-3/8"
Can I use the bracket with my own shelf?

Our shelves are specially designed to fit onto our innovative bracket. That being said, you can build a shelf using our router and jigs that will fit our bracket. This is a great option if you have a piece of wood that you'd like to turn into a shelf.

While we don’t make corner shelves, you can create and customize your own corner floating shelves with Ultrashelf by using two separate shelves in an L formation.

To install your bracket, we recommend that you use a stud finder, a pencil, a tape measure, a level, and a drill.

Our current lead time is 1-2 weeks for shelf production. Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days.

Returns are subject to a 50% restocking fee + shipping.

Shipping Guarantee - If your product is damaged in shipping, take a picture of your shelves and email them to support@ultrashelf.com and we will replace your shelves at no cost to you. Note: We do not issue refunds for damaged product.
Shipping damages must be reported within 30 days of receiving your package.
