Painted Floating Shelf

These are lovely shelves, very well made. My husband is a skilled handyman and he put them in an hour or so. They look fabulous supporting my artwork in my studio.

A little tough to install but absolutely gorgeous!

Received shipment as scheduled. The 4 shelves were packaged well and easy to install. I would highly recommend them.

I have so far been very satisfied with my experience and the product. The shelves arrived on time with no damage. They were cut exactly as expected and installation was pretty easy with the aid of a second person. They look great and feel very sturdy.

Had my handy man here to install and when we open the box, the shelves were cracked

The shelf is very high quality. It's solid wood, and the mounting hardware has holes at 1 inch intervals, which enables you to put the shelf wherever you want it while still attaching it to studs. It was custom made and delivered faster than promised. It was expensive but worth it.The one problem I had is that my wall turned out to be slightly curved. As a result, when I first put the bracket on the wall, there was a gap between the bracket and the wall. When I screwed the bracket into the studs, the bracket bent slightly, so that it became flat against the slightly curved wall. But when the bracket bent, the angle of the metal posts sticking out from the bracket changed slightly. As a result, I was at first unable to get the shelf onto the bracket. Eventually I applied a lot of force to the shelf, and it slid all the way onto the bracket, and now it's fine.

Every step of the process was seamless and the shelves arrived in time and in good condition. I will always recommend Ultra Shelf!

The shelves are solid, the brackets are heavy, and they are easy to mount. Once you see the hardware, you 'll see why these things don't sag. You need a level, a screwdriver, and a few drywall screws/anchors. (Do check that your walls are flat and level where you intend to put the shelf!)Their customer service was excellent to deal with when I had questions.

The 90’ shelf is beautiful above my bed. The quality is good and I’m confident in it’s securely installed. Installation wasn’t as easy as expected. Because of its length it came with two brackets, different widths. Installing at the same height, leveled, and perfectly spaced was a 2-person job that took a few hours of prep and planning, versus just installing one bracket and ensuring it’s leveled. But once we got it installed it was well worth the extra time.

We ordered 2 of the black floating shelves. Everything was included for install. Exactly what we wanted!

These really are amazing shelves. I ordered the raw wood ones, so I could paint them to match my trim. You can tell they're crafted in a shop. They're solid, almost over-engineered, easy to install, and very nice. The wood was sanded smooth, so I just used a smooth cabinet roller to apply a paint finish. The shelves look custom, so I highly recommend getting the raw version so you can paint to perfectly suit your particular application. I am going to save this seller and would buy from them again without hesitation!

First I'd like to say that the "Black Fox" color is really pretty....it's like a neutral dark griegey color or very dark taupe shade. The shelf is heavy and the quality looks great. There is a very sturdy hidden shelf bracket included for hanging. I would have absolutely loved the shelf however the shipping time was incredibly long, almost 4 weeks and then when it finally arrived, the front corner of the shelf was crushed, dented and missing paint. It was sent with some thin styrofoam for packing but packaged in a very thin cardboard box. Due to the obvious crushed corners of the packaging, you can see that it was dropped numerous times and handled pretty rough throughout the shipping process. It is very unfortunate!!

What fantastic, heavy duty shelving this came out to be. I ordered 5 ft long wall shelves and these are about 20-25lbs each I would guess. The support metal bracket in the back of the shelving is very strong (and sharp!) and this is definitely made to be high quality, unlike other wall shelves that are usually purchased. These are wood throughout, and they don’t feel cheap at all. As long as my old walls can support this weight and all I have to put on it, I am a very happy customer! The only thing is they are a little pricey, but these are made to last. So if you are looking for a long term investment out of your shelves, this may be them. As well, the paint job is near perfect on these shelves, they are perfectly smooth to the touch and a bright white which is what I was hoping for. Not a soft, or off white . These did take about three weeks to come in and right on time with anticipated delivery date. Great sturdy packaging as well, very secure.

This floating shelf is absolutely first class. First off the color we choose was a perfect match for the room we placed the shelf in. The shelf was easy to install. The only tools one needed, was a stud finder, 24" level, and a power drill. The shelf came with screws (4) and a driver bit. The metal floating holder for the shelf was extremely well made and easy to install. Photos should make it quite plain to see. I highly recommend this product. I will probably buy more for other rooms.
