Winter in the Valley is an oil on canvas painted by in-house artist, Shaun Anderson. Speaking on the significance of this work, Anderson elaborated; This painting immediately transports me back to my homeland of Idaho, especially Teton Valley. I like to imagine that I come upon this scene from riding a snow machine. I then turn the machine off and ponder in silence and take in the last few minutes of the day before it gets dark. I imagine my ancestors living in this little house. I imagine the simple life as they sit by the fireplace with a simple stocking hanging there. As much as I love my life of luxury, sometimes it’s peaceful to ponder on the farm life.
