This Auger Bit is used to drill holes in your floating shelf for the bracket rods.  They are sized appropriately as to fit inside our provided drilling jig and drills the perfect size hole so your bracket fits very tightly inside the shelf.  

Both the Ultra and Mantel brackets need a 13/16" diameter auger bit. For 4" or 6" support rods, use the 7" length. For 8" support rods, use the 18" long bit.

*Please use an Ultra Shelf supplied Auger Bit to drill holes into your shelves. Other auger bits may not fit our drilling jigs.
