Memories of the hunt for the perfect tree at his grandparent’s home in rural Idaho led artist, Shaun Anderson, to create this narrative sketch. The simplistic nature of charcoal as a medium harkens back to the tender memories of time spent with family and the healing that comes from an afternoon in nature. Both timeless and traditional, this charcoal sketch brings a little bit of life to any room in the house.
All prints come printed on archival paper and mounted to masonite for structure and longevity. Each print is also individually laminated, which gives the print the visual effect of a canvas print texture and a light gloss.
Framing is optional and is a great way to receive a finished art piece ready to place on your shelf. The frames are crafted from polyurethane and feature a gold and copper-colored finish. Each frame includes a wire on the back for hanging on the wall.
