Painted Floating Shelves with Hidden Bracket

Quality is outstanding but tough to work with

I have the brackets on the wall, but to get it into the hole, after many attempts, hasn't happened. I'm pretty good at dyi things but the tolerance to get it through the holes is small. So I have the bracket on the wall but the shelf is still on the floor. Frustrated
